Pelle Venetjoki has spent twenty-five years on film sets and in edit suites — as a sound designer and location sound recordist for fiction, documentary, and everything in between, since studying sound design at what is now Aalto University. Somewhere along the way, the same problems kept showing up: hours lost syncing takes, days lost mixing dialogue tracks that should have taken minutes.
